Celebrate South Salt Lake Mini Grants

The Celebrate South Salt Lake Mini-Grant Program is designed to enrich the South Salt Lake community by championing local artists and fostering connections that celebrate our unique identity.

• Grounded in the value of Uniqueness, this program acts as an incubator to celebrate the distinct industrial and creative character of our city by supporting residents, businesses, and community groups in hosting their own cultural events.
• We create Opportunity by providing cash grants between $500 and $1,000, along with waived facility rental fees and equipment use, to help turn creative visions into reality.
• This Support ensures that anyone can lead a successful event, with the Arts Council offering personal guidance and training on permitting and event planning.
• Our goal is to Elevate the voices of our diverse community, ensuring that every project makes a lasting, tangible Impact on the culture and economy of South Salt Lake.

To achieve this, the program funds events that are free and open to the public, designed to share traditions, music, food, and art in public locations throughout the city. By sponsoring these grassroots efforts, we aim to highlight a diversity of cultures and ideas, creating accessible cultural experiences that unite our neighbors and establish new city traditions.
